معيقات تحقيق الإبداع المهني ومتطلبات مواجهتها لدى بعض أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالمملكة العربية السعودية
The research aims to explore the obstacles to professional creativity among faculty members and how to overcome them from their viewpoint. The study adopts the descriptive method, using the questionnaire as a tool to collect data. The sample consisted of 300 male and female faculty members in some Saudi universities. The findings showed that the most prominent obstacles to professional creativity among faculty members are the following: poor incentives for faculty members, many job burdens placed on the faculty member, poor empowerment granted to faculty members to perform creative performance, weak societal awareness of the culture of creativity, limiting the behavior of faculty members to expected matters according to the official roles, the large quorum of a faculty member from students, and the faculty member’s feeling that he/she is under constant supervision to ensure that he/she works in accordance with the rules and regulation. Conclusion: The most important requirements to face these obstacles are: holding continuous training courses for the professional development of faculty members, reducing the administrative and teaching burdens of the faculty members.
