The study aims to identify teachers' perceptions of their knowledge and praxis of educational accommodations for students having difficulty in learning and examine these perceptions across the demographic variables (type of services, educational level, knowledge of disability laws, and the availability of special education services). The study uses a quantitative research approach by applying a 24-item questionnaire divided into two main domains: evaluation accommodation, and teaching accommodation. The study sample (n=249) consists of 111 preservice teachers and 138 in-service teachers. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were applied to analyze the data. Findings revealed that teachers perceived that they have awareness and desire to practice accommodation for students; having difficulties in learning in both domains; namely: evaluation accommodation, and teaching accommodation. Also, results indicated that there are statitically differences regarding teachers' responses based on the following variables: type of services, knowledge of disability laws, and the availability of special education services. Moreover, there is no statistically significant differences exist regarding teacher responses based on educational level. Conclusion: teacher' perceptions of their knowledge and praxis of educational accommodation (SEND Program) a constructive base for successful teaching/learning results; depending on two main variables; namely; knowledge and desire. Recommendations were cited to secure sustainability of success and extending it to other areas. (Published abstract)
