The study aimed to identify the level of short-term memory and its relationship to physical activity and learning speed among Palestine Technical University students. The researcher used the Warrington, 1984 test to measure memory, which is a set of tests known for free verbal recall and problem solving. The researcher designed a test to measure learning speed, and the study sample included 6 students from Palestine Technical University. Statistical processing was carried out using statistical packages (SPSS) program. The results of the study showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the practitioners of sports activity and the non-practitioners at the level (0.05), but in the light of the methods of practical significance (0.05) and to ensure that there is an effective effect of the practice, the researcher calculated the effect size using the Eta square effect equation, And it reached a value equal to (2.45), which is a value greater than (0.1), which indicates the existence of a high impact size for the independent variable (sports activity) on the dependent variable (short-term memory). The researcher also concluded that there is no relationship at the significance level (0.05) between short-term memory and learning speed. The study recommended conducting research on the relationship of practicing sports activities to long-term memory and the learning process. (Published abstract)
