أثر برنامج علاجي قائم على تطبيق الذّكاء الاصطناعي (duolingo math) في تنمية مهارات الحساب لدى طلبة صعوبات التّعلّم في الصّف الثّالث
The study aimed to examine the impact of a therapeutic programme based on the artificial intelligence application (Duolingo Math) on developing math skills among third-grade students with learning disabilities. The quasi-experimental method was used to achieve the study's objectives, as it suited the research goals. The participants consisted of all third-grade students with learning disabilities at a public school in Amman, totaling 24 students. The students were randomly divided into two groups, with 12 students in each group. The experimental group was taught using the therapeutic program based on the artificial intelligence application (Duolingo Math), while the control group was taught using the traditional method. The study tool, a math skills test, was administered pre- and post-intervention to both groups after verifying its validity and reliability in the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024. The study concluded that there were statistically significant differences in the overall performance of the experimental group students in the math skills test. The results also showed statistically significant differences in the post-test scores in favor of the experimental group. In light of these findings, the study recommended using artificial intelligence applications in developing therapeutic programs for teaching students with learning disabilities, specifically in enhancing math skills.
