This study aimed to identify the role of teachers in developing global citizenship in post-basic schools in the Governorate of South Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman in light of the European Center for Global Interdependence and Solidarity Model, study used a descriptive method and approach of the case study, also used the questionnaire to collect data and information were applied to a sample of (453) students. The results of the study showed that the role of teachers in developing global citizenship in post-basic schools in the Governorate of South Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman in light of the European Center for Global Interdependence and Solidarity Model was came generally moderate degree. They also came moderate degree of all fields: Knowledge, skills and values, The results also revealed that there were statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample members at the level (α≤0.05) due to the variables of sex, grade, and specialization.
