الضغوط النفسية وعلاقتها بالدافعية المهنية لدى معلمي التعليم ما بعد الأساسي في مدارس محافظة مسقط في سلطنة عمان
This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the psychological stresses and professional motivation among post basic education teachers in Muscat Governorate schools in the Sultanate of Oman. The study sample consisted of (300) male and female teachers. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher made an inventory for psychological stresses and another inventory for professional motivation. The results showed that the psychological stresses scope high level, and professional motivation scope high level too. There was no statistically significant level (0.05) among the averages of the study samples’ grades of psychological stresses attributed to the gender (male-female) variable at all dimensions. Also, there was no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) for the psychological stress level attributed to the years of experience variable at all dimensions except the dimension of family, society, and social media related stress where the significance level was less than (0.05). Then, it was found that the statistical differences between teachers who had more than 19 years of experience and new teachers with less than 5 years of experience. (Author’s abstract)
