This research aims to measure the effectiveness of a program in home economic based on Green Innovation concepts to develop sustainable thinking and environmental citizenship of students in community education schools. The research was based on the quasi-experimental approach based on one group. The experimental group consisted of (15) students in community education schools, the research tools included (the sustainable thinking test, environmental citizenship scale), but the educational materials included (program in green innovation concepts, the student’s handbook). The results showed that the effectiveness of a program based on green innovation concepts in developing sustainable thinking and increasing environmental citizenship. The results also showed a positive direct correlation between the growth of sustainable thinking skills and the development of awareness of the dimensions of environmental citizenship. The research recommended the necessity of including the concepts of green innovation in the school curricula and attention to the development of sustainable thinking skills among school students, emphasizing the role of education in consolidating awareness of the dimensions of environmental citizenship among students.
