The current study aims to investigate the effectiveness of meaningful mathematical discourse in improving mathematical beliefs of 6th grade Azhar pupils. The study provided a procedural conception of a classroom learning environment that develops meaningful mathematical discourse, including both oral and written classroom discourses, mixed method research methodology was used: quantitative and qualitative mixed methods, including, a measure of mathematical beliefs, a rank scale of mathematical beliefs, and observation and interviews, were used to collect and analyze data from a sample of )43( 6th. Grade pupils. data analysis using Chi Square the Paired Sample t-test revealed a significant improvement in the pupils’ mathematical beliefs. This includes the pupils attribution of their success and failure in mathematics to internal factors see mathematics as creative, realize its utility in their daily lives, and are ready to look for the right other solutions. They also have the motivation to engage in mathematics learning, participate in class, exert effort and time to complete the task, and confront the difficulties of the task. (Published abstract)
