This study aimed to reveal the degree of satisfaction of Islamic education teachers and parents with the Islamic education curriculum for the first cycle of basic education in the Sultanate of Oman. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the analytical descriptive approach was used, as two tools were designed, namely a questionnaire addressed to teachers and consisted of (32) items distributed on five axes. It was based on five axes, which are (goals, content, activities and exercises, teaching aids, and evaluation) and another questionnaire for parents of students consisted of eight paragraphs. North Al-Sharqiyah Governorate in the academic year 2021-2022 AD, and the sample of parents was (58) guardians. The study concluded a number of results, most notably: The level of satisfaction of teachers of Islamic education was high in a number of aspects, including (goals, content, and evaluation), and the level of satisfaction was low in the axis of teaching methods. As for the level of parents’ satisfaction, it was high in some paragraphs, as paragraph (6) got the highest rank among the rest of the paragraphs with a rate of (84.4%). Paragraph (2) got a percentage of (80%), while Paragraph No. (8) came ) ranked last with the lowest percentage of (56.8%). In the light of these results, the study concluded with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is conducting a periodic and comprehensive evaluation and review of the Islamic education curricula, balancing the theoretical and practical aspects of the curriculum, and conducting more studies to evaluate the curricula of the first cycle.
