The research problem is summarized in the weakness of belonging among the third year middle school students, which requires the need to support the value of belonging through national attitudes in the local history in the border governorates, and to address this problem, the research tried to answer the following main question: What is the Effectiveness of Using Local History in Supporting the Value of Belonging among Third Year Middle School Students in the Border Governorates? The Following Sub-Questions Arise from this Main Question: 1) What are the patriotic attitudes included in local history that support the value of belonging among third-grade students in middle school in the border governorates? 2) What are the dimensions of belonging that must be developed for third year middle school students in the border governorates? 3) What is the effectiveness of a program enriching local history based on national attitudes to support the values of belonging among third year middle school students in the border governorates? The aim of the research is to measure the effectiveness of an enrichment program in local history based on national attitudes in supporting the value of belonging among third year middle school students in the border governorates, the research relied on the descriptive method in its theoretical framework, and the experimental method for conducting experiment and field application, the research group consisted of (30) female students of the third preparatory grade in one of the schools of the administration of hurghada in the red sea governorate, the research tools consisted of the affiliation scale and test, the results of the research resulted in the presence of a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students in the pre and post measurements in each dimension of the affiliation scale as a whole in favor of the post application, there is a statistically significant at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students in the pre and post measurement in each of the dimensions of the affiliation test as a whole in favor of the post application, the results of the research also found the effectiveness of the enrichment program in local history based on national attitudes to support the values of belonging among third year preparatory students in the border governorates, in the end the research recommended many recommendations, including, but not limited to, the necessity of including national positions on local history within the objectives and content of teaching history at all educational levels.
