The study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a program using theory of mind tasks to improve language proficiency and its impact on the quality of life of children with autism spectrum disorder. The basic sample consisted of (10) children with autism spectrum disorder, their ages ranged between (4- 6) years, with an average age of (5.20) and a standard deviation of (0.69), and their autism spectrum disorder coefficient ranged between (90- 110). They were divided into two equal groups, experimental and control, each consisting of (5) children; The data were collected using the Stanford Interpersonal Intelligence Scale (fifth picture) (Taqnin Mahmoud Abu Al-Nil, 2011), the Gilliam Autism Diagnostic Scale (prepared by: Muhammad Abdel Rahman and Mona Hassan, 2004), the Language Proficiency Scale (prepared by the researcher), and the Quality of Life Scale For children with autism spectrum disorder (prepared by the researcher), the training program using theoretical tasks (prepared by the researcher). The results indicated that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post measurement of language proficiency and quality of life, in favor of the experimental group, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre and post measurements of language proficiency and quality of life, in favor of the measurement The post, and there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the post and follow-up measures of language proficiency and quality of life.
