The current research aimed at developing complex problem-solving skills among first year secondary school students through a proposed unit in home economics based on the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This required preparing a test to measure the skills of solving complex problems applied to 37 female students from the first secondary students at Omar Ibn Abdelaziz co-ed secondary school at Salaa in Sohag. The results indicated that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the research group students in the pre and post administration of the complex problem-solving skills test. This means that teaching a proposed unit in home economics based on the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution led to the development of complex problem-solving skills among the research group students. The research recommended the inclusion of home economics curricula with topics related to the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market, developing home economics laboratories to cope with the developed curricula in light of the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as well as developing the programs of preparing home economics teachers at faculties of Specific Education and Home Economics in the light of the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
