مستوى عادات العقل لدى الطالبات المعلمات في تخصص العلوم بجامعة السلطان قابوس
The present descriptive study was conducted to measure the level of mind habits among science student teachers at Sultan Qaboos University. The sample was intentionally chosen and consisted of (65) female science student teachers. A questionnaire with (7) aspects was administered. Its validity was checked. The findings showed that persistence habit was the most common habit among female science student teachers, as it scored a high level in comparison to the other habits. The findings also revealed that “the tendency towards teamwork instead of individual work for its effectiveness in exchanging ideas’ scored an average level. The results also indicated significant differences in the visualization, imagination, and creativity habits in favor of the undergraduate program. Also, there were statistically significant differences in the habit of metacognition as well as visualization, imagination, creativity, and persistence in favor of chemistry major. Based on the findings, the study submitted some recommendations and future perspectives. (Published abstract)
