The present study aimed to identify the attitudes of higher education students towards entrepreneurship and to reveal whether statistically significant differences were found in students’ attitudes towards entrepreneurship due to: gender, educational institution, economic level of the family, and the student’s GPA. It also investigated the most important challenges facing Omani youth in the field of entrepreneurship and their possible solutions. The study used the descriptive and analytical approach. Two questionnaires were distributed: Higher Education Students' Attitudes towards Entrepreneurship Questionnaire and Challenges and Solutions of Entrepreneurship Questionnaire. The study was applied to a stratified random sample which consisted of (1152) higher education students, of whom (629 were females and 523 were males). The results revealed high positive attitudes towards entrepreneurship among higher education students; however, there were no statistically significant differences in their attitudes towards entrepreneurship due to the economic level and the cumulative rate. Moreover, statistically significant gender differences appeared in the attitudes towards entrepreneurship in the two dimensions: creativity and independence, in favor of females, and the educational institution variable in favor of Sultan Qaboos University. The most important challenges facing Omani youth in the field of entrepreneurship were: the technical and administrative challenges, the investment environment challenges, and the societal challenges. Thematic data analysis of the entrepreneurship solutions proposed by the students revealed seven main solutions: training 33%, enacting laws governing the entrepreneurship sector 20.7%, awareness-raising 20%, financing 19.8%, supervision and follow-up 3.6%, entrepreneurial education 1.6%, motivating entrepreneurs, and marketing their products 1.3%.
