The current study aimed to find out the level of emotional intelligence among university students who are about to graduate, and sought to study the differences in the light of the variables (sex, academic specialization, and academic level). To achieve these goals, the descriptive approach was used, and the scale of Othman and Rizk (2001) was applied, which included the following dimensions (emotion management, empathy, emotion regulation, emotional knowledge, social communication), and this after verifying its psychometric characteristics (honesty and constancy), when the study sample was formed From (120) male and female students, they were chosen randomly from the Universities of M'sila and Biskra during the academic season (2022-2023), and after collecting and analyzing data using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The study reached the following results: 1) There is a high level of emotional intelligence among university students who are about to graduate. 2) There are no statistically significant differences due to the gender variable among university students who are about to graduate. 3) There are no statistically significant differences in the level of emotional intelligence among university students who are about to graduate due to the academic specialization variable. 4) There are no statistically significant differences in the level of emotional intelligence among university students who are about to graduate due to the academic level variable. The results were interpreted in the light of previous studies, and the current study concluded with a number of suggestions. (Published abstract)
