The study aimed to recognize the role of motivation and performance evaluation in activating positive emotions among Palestinian Ministry of Education Employees, using the descriptive methodology by distributing a questionnaire to 300 staff, The study results: show all the averages of positive items of motivation and performance evaluation came in intermediate to low level. In the positive stimulus, "direct officials support positive innovations." relative weight (62.67%). The lowest score item "Promotion within the Ministry is fair", with a relative weight (40.13%) which considered low score. The item "I am satisfied with last year's performance evaluation”, took the first rank with a relative weight (64%)."The performance appraisal model takes into account the psychological factors surrounding the work." It got the lowest ranking, at a relative weight (47.39%) with a low score. A statistically significant correlation at the indicative level (α≤0.05) to the stimulus axis and performance assessment in activating positive emotions, and statistically significant differences were found (α≤0.05) of the stimulus axis and performance assessment in activating positive emotions attributable to the gender variable and the male interest, The absence of statistically significant differences at the indicative level (α≤0.05) of motivation and performance evaluation in activating positive emotions is attributable to variables (scientific qualification, years of experience, job title).
