تصورات المعلمات نحو توظيف بيئات التعلم التكيفية في العملية التعليمية
This study aimed to explore female teachers’ perceptions towards employing adaptive learning environments in the educational process, by determining the degree of their knowledge of adaptive learning, their teaching practices in adaptive learning environments, and their attitudes towards adaptive learning environments. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was employed, and a questionnaire consisting of (51) items was applied to the study sample, which comprised 378 female teachers in the Department of Education in Taif Governorate. The results of the study revealed that female teachers' knowledge of adaptive learning was moderate (M=3.26), their use of teaching practices in adaptive learning environments was high (M=3.43), and their attitudes towards the use of adaptive learning environments were moderate (M=3.26). The findings also showed no statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) between the responses of the study sample on their knowledge of adaptive learning according to the academic qualification, and there were statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) due to years of experience in favor of the teachers whose experience was more than 15 years, and due to the training programs in the field of educational technologies in favor of teachers who received more than four training programs. The results also revealed no statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) between the responses of the study sample on the use of teaching practices in adaptive learning environments due to the academic qualification, while there were statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) due to years of experience in favor of the teachers whose experience was more than 15 years, and due to the training programs in the field of educational technologies in favor of teachers who received more than four training programs. Finally, the results showed no statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) between the responses of the study sample on their attitudes towards the use of adaptive learning environments due to years of experience, there were statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) due to the academic qualification in favor of teachers with postgraduate qualifications, and due to the training programs in the field of educational technologies in favor of teachers who received more than four training programs. Based on the results of the study, the study recommended holding training courses for female teachers related to adaptive learning, its environments and how to use it in the educational process, reviewing teaching practices, integrating high-quality and more specialized practices in the field of technology, and emphasizing the importance of using adaptive learning environments in the educational process through providing the necessary equipment and applications.
