This research aimed to develop the analytical thinking skills and the creative writing skills among second preparatory pupils, and identify the impact of Using the collaborative strategic heading strategy in developing these skills. The quasi-experimental approach was followed, using a two- group experimental design, the research sample formed up of (60) male and female pupils attending the future language joint preparatory school, as suit directorate of education, as suit governorate, as an experiment group of (30) pupils, and a control of (30) pupils. The researcher was designed materials and tools including: a list of analytical thinking skills and creative writing skills to be developed, A teacher's guide, a students book according to the strategic reading relevant for the second prep stage, two tests analytical thinking skills, creative writing skills. The results showed a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the average of the pupils' grades in the experimental group and control group on the analytical thinking skills, creative writing skills tests as a whole, in the pre and post applications in favor of the experimental group in the post test, and the impact of the use the collaborative strategic heading strategy. At the end of the research, a set of recommendations and proposals were presented. (Published abstract)
