The present research aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a training program by using cooperative learning together strategy to provide basic education students at Faculty of Education, Assiut university with digital story skills. To answer the research questions and verify its hypotheses, the quasi-experimental design was adopted using one experimental group with pre-post testing. Participants of the research were (40) basic education students at the Faculty of Education, Assiut University. The research tools included the cooperative learning together strategy-based program which consisted of eight sessions and a skills and sub-skills checklist of digital story. The research instruments consisted of a cognitive test of (30) objective items, and on observation sheet of digital story skills, containing (96) skills divided into (12) main skills. The validity and reliability of the research tools were calculated. Pre and post research tools were applied to the research group and appropriate statistical methods were used. The research proved the effectiveness of the proposed training program in providing educational digital story skills to basic education students at Faculty of Education. The research recommended the need to train basic education students and basic stage teachers on the skills of producing and employing the digital story in the educational process. (Published abstract)
