The current research aimed to identify the role of the public education administration in facing the challenges of distance education in the State of Kuwait at the present time, by identifying the scientific content of distance education at the present time, highlighting the nature of the organizational structure of the education administration in Kuwait at the present time, and revealing the most important efforts The efforts exerted by the Department of Education in the State of Kuwait to meet the challenges of distance education at the present time, in addition to identifying the features of the proposed vision to meet the challenges of distance education in the State of Kuwait at the present time, and the current research used the descriptive approach, and one of its most prominent results was the need for distance education to be an intensive effort In terms of training and qualifying teachers, students, technicians and administrators, in addition to that this type of education is linked to other technical factors such as the efficiency of the communication network, the availability of hardware and software and the production of content in a modern way.
