This study aimed to identify the concepts of social media via the internet. And to reveal its relationship with the spread of electronic bullying through social media and to identify the damages that result from the phenomenon of electronic bullying in society as a result of the wrong use of social media and the absence of the role of the family, and leisure and social and economic status. To achieve the goals of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was used, and the study population consisted of students of the cyber psychology diploma and a random sample of 78 students was taken, and the questionnaire was adopted as a main tool for this research, and after the statistical analysis of the sample answers, the study reached a number of results, the most important of which is that it There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the opinions of the sample on the relationship between factors associated with cyberbullying and the result of the use of social networks due to the difference in gender. While the results revealed the presence of statistically significant differences due to the difference in age and other specialization. The study also concluded that there is a correlation between the increase in cyber bullying and the wrong use of social networks, the role of the family in the spread of cyberbullying and the effect of free time in the spread of the phenomenon. The study recommended the importance of giving confidence to children by families, and establishing alternative programs on social networks such as creating recreational programs within the family and sports competitions through the Internet. The study also recommended the importance of giving children self-confidence and flexibility with them and providing them with what they can develop their social skills. (Published abstract)
