إحتياجات التطوير المهني لمعلمي العلوم بالمرحلة المتوسطة في ضوء بعض المعايير المهنية للمعلمين من وجهة نظر مشرفي العلوم
The aim of the research was to determine the professional development needs of science teachers at the intermediate stage in the light of some professional standards for teachers from the point of view of science supervisors for science teachers in the light of some professional standards for teachers, where the research community consisted of science supervisors for the intermediate stage in the Education Administration in the Riyadh region, and their number is (04) supervisors, working in Riyadh education offices, where their responses were studied about the needs of science teachers in the middle stage in light of some professional standards for teachers, and the descriptive analytical approach was employed, after ensuring the validity and reliability of the tool to collect the data necessary to answer the research questions. The analysis card consisted of three axes: The first axis: the role of planning educational units in the professional development of the teacher, the second axis: finding Interactive environments in teaching and learning, the third axis: evaluation and its role in the professional development of the teacher, and for the purpose of statistical analysis, the study was used the frequencies, percentages, arithmetic averages, and standard deviation of the responses of the sample members. The results of the research have led to good planning to create a fruitful interactive educational environment that contributes to the professional development of the science teacher in developing the skill of planning and implementing scientific inquiry. The planning of educational units achieves the safety of implementing procedures and teaching measures. The results concluded that employing different teaching approaches and modern trends requires professional development in an in-depth study of educational evaluation. (Published abstract)
