The research aimed to clarify the intellectual foundations on which the school self-management approach is based, and to reveal the features of school self-management in Finland in the light of the forces and cultural factors affecting them, and how to benefit from them in Egypt. The application of the school's self-management entrance in the Arab Republic of Egypt in the light of the experience of all of Finland. The research reached the following results: 1) The Finnish experience in the field of education is a model that emerged as a result of the compatibility and integration of a deep set of cultural and social values, and it is a distinctive approach to educational development. 2) The prevailing trend in the administrative form in Finland is characterized by decentralization in educational decision-making, and the Ministry of Education is concerned with education policy and financing. In the end, the researcher extracted some lessons learned from Finland’s experience in the field of school self-management, which can contribute to the development of school administration in Egypt.
