The aim of the current research was to verify the effectiveness of enrichment program in the light of problem-based learning for developing high order thinking skills and scientific awareness in science for prep school pupils. The study sample consist of (50 pupils) was divided in to two groups, experimental group consist of (25 pupils) and the control group consist of (25 pupils). The researcher used the analytical descriptive method for reviewing the related literature and previous studies, the research tools included higher order thinking skills test and two scales of scientific awareness. The results of the present study assured the effectiveness of enrichment program in the light of problem based learning for developing high order thinking skills and scientific awareness in science for prep school pupils.
