درجة ممارسة القيادة التحويلية في جامعة الشرق الأوسط من وجهة نظر أعضاء الهيئتين التدريسية والإدارية فيها
This study aimed at finding out the degree of practicing transformational leadership at the Middle East University (MEU) from faculty and administrative staff members’ point of view. The sample of the study consisted of (95) faculty and administrative staff members, who were draw randomly from the population of the study. The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) was used to measure the degree of practicing transformational leadership in general, and its four dimensions (Idealized Influence, Intellectual Stimulation, Inspirational motivation, and Individualized Consideration) in particular, after translating it into Arabic. Its validity and reliability were found. The findings indicated that the degree of practicing transformational leadership at (MEU) from faculty and administrative staff members’ point of view was very high in general. With regard to the four dimensions, the findings indicated that the mean of inspirational motivation was very high. Its value was (4.39). The individualized consideration dimension was high. Its mean was (4.09). The t-test indicated no significant differences at (α≤0.05) among subjects responses on the items of three transformational leadership dimensions. While, the findings showed significant differences at (α≤0.05) on inspirational motivation dimension, in favor of faculty staff members.
