This research aimed to identify the effectiveness of a proposed strategy based on some the dimensions of sustainable development in teaching the computer course to develop computer skills and educational achievement for first-level students at the Faculty of Languages and Translation October 6 University. To achieve this objective, The researcher used the descriptive analytical and experimental approach. The study sample consists of (60) student in two groups: one of which was the experimental group (30) student, use to proposed strategy while the second was the control (30) student group use to Traditional method. The Research used the following tools: the future thinking test. The study reached the following results: First, there is a statistically significant difference between scores mean of the students in the experimental Group and the Control Group Concerning the post-test of future thinking skills (Total score and individual skill) in favor of the experimental Group. Second, there is a statistically significant difference between scores mean of the students in the experimental Group on pre-testing and post-testing on future thinking skills (Total score and individual skill) in favor of post testing mean scores. The third, there is an effectiveness of a proposed strategy based on some the dimensions of sustainable development for students the pilot group. (Published abstract)
