The current study aims to rethink the way in which knowledge in the fields of comparative and international education is produced and circulated on a global scale, and to reveal the role that both the old colonialism and the new colonialism played in the existence of comparative and international education in it’s current form in the countries of the South and our Arab world, and the repercussions on the Comparative researchers face research difficulties and methodological problems at the level of the countries of the South, the Arab world in general, and Egypt in particular. This is by shedding light on the comparative methodological initiatives undertaken by the pioneers of the field, which clearly ignores certain historical and geopolitical contexts, emphasizes the different relationships and centers of power in the methods of knowledge production, and glorifies the idea of borrowing and transferring foreign experience with international initiatives and blessings, and finally trying to present a vision to liberate comparative and international education from Western intellectual domination. This is through extrapolation of the international and local educational literature and studies that dealt with this field, and the methodological and qualitative treatment will be done by employing this educational heritage in crystallizing ways to confront the colonization of knowledge in comparative and international education in the light of post-colonial theory, and examining it’s applications for confrontation.
