The research aimed at determining the effectiveness of multimedia-based storytelling in developing both academic achievement at levels of (knowledge - comprehension - application), and understanding of the nature of science with dimensions (objectives - characteristics - ethic - and its relation to technology). To achieve that, the quasi-experimental design was used, multimedia-based scientific storytelling approach; academic achievement test, and test of understanding the nature of the science were prepared, these tools were applied on a sample of (87) students of the 1st grade preparatory students distributed into two schools of the of educational Belqas district at Dakahlia governorate, however, (43) students of the experimental group and (44) Is a student and student of the control group. The results showed that there is a statistically significant difference in favor of the experimental group in both academic achievement and understanding nature of science. So, these results indicated the effectiveness of multimedia-based scientific storytelling approach in developing academic achievement and understanding nature of science. (Published abstract)
