The current study aims to outline research partnerships in Egyptian universities and to learn about the world's most important experiences in research partnership with universities, The study also aimed to conceptualize a proposal to re-engineer research partnerships in Egyptian universities in the light of Vision 2030. The study used the descriptive approach to analyse and accurately describe the reality of research partnership, In terms of the range of inputs and how they interact with each other through processes and then analyze the results and outputs of the research partnership in Egyptian universities, and the study found that the role of the entities responsible for activating the research partnership in facilitating and regulating all kinds of research partnership between universities and the business community is weak and inadequate legislative regulation, as not all the private sector's participation with the government sector in the field of scientific research was exposed which has cast a lot of ambiguity about the forms of private participation that can be applied under Egyptian law, In addition, there is a lack of a unified strategic vision at the central level when addressing private investment participation in financing and operating this type of project. in addition to the multiplicity of authorities responsible for organizing this participation, and the numerous approvals and licenses required in an excessive manner The creation and activation of centres of creativity, innovation and excellence is weak. incubators, knowledge valleys, knowledge parks, research chairs, entrepreneurial centres, Contractual research to create an environment conducive to the development of the University's productive activities The study conceptualized a proposal to reengineer the research partnership processes of Egyptian universities in the light of Vision 2030, which included a range of mechanisms, including: Developing legislation governing research partnership to regulate and sustain partnership between universities, industry, production and the private sector and develop a strategic plan for the sustainability of the partnership between universities and industrial institutions in the field of applied research to ensure the implementation of joint research projects; Developing research partnership programs by leveraging global models such as universities in the United States, England and South Korea and activate the partnership between universities and industry by training university students and developing their practical skills.
