أثر استخدام نموذج سوم (swom) في التحصيل العلمي وتنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد في تدريس العلوم لدى طلبة الصف الثامن الأساسي في مديرية المفرق
This study aimed to reveal the effect of the effectiveness of teaching the unit "Atom and the periodic Table from the science content of the Eighth Grade, using the( SWOM) Model, on their Academic Achievement and developing their Critical Thinking skills compared to the usual method in Jordan .To achieve this goal, the quasi – experimental design was adopted in this study, and the study sample consisted of (42) female students, they were divided into two groups : a control group, comprising (21) students, from the eighth grade of two different divisions in Mafraq Governorate. in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, from one of the schools of Qasaba Mafraq in the first semester (2021/2022), where the unit " Atom and the Periodic TABLE "was taught according to the SWOM model for the experimental group, and the same content was taught in the usual way for the control group. The results of the study revealed a statistically significant difference between the two arithmetic averages of the scores of the students of the two groups, in both the Achievement test and the Critical Thinking skills test, and the difference was in favor of the experimental group.
