العوامل المؤثرة في السرعة القرائية لدى طلبة الصف السادس الأساسي في محافظة المفرق من وجهة نظر معلميهم
This study aimed to reveal the factors affecting the reading speed of sixth grade students in Mafraq Governorate from the point of view of their teachers. The descriptive survey method was used. The final study sample consisted of (425) Arab language teachers. The questionnaire was used as a tool for the study, consisting of (24) paragraphs distributed over four areas: (reasons related to teaching methods and evaluation, reasons related to the student, reasons related to the content, Reasons related to the teacher) after verifying its validity and reliability. The results of the study showed the following: that the estimates of the study sample members about the factors affecting the reading speed of the sixth grade students in Mafraq Governorate from the point of view of their teachers came with an average estimate, where the total arithmetic mean was (3.20), and standard deviation (.217), where The field of reasons related to teaching methods and evaluation came in the first stage, then reasons related to the student, and in the last rank came the field of reasons related to the content. The results of the study related to the individual statistical differences revealed that there were no statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) due to the effect of gender in all fields and the total degree, and the results showed, and there were no statistically significant differences due to the effect of years of experience. In light of the results of the study, the study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: Holding courses, workshops and programs on obstacles, modern strategies used by teachers of Arabic language in teaching reading in general and speed reading in particular.
