مدى مساهمة كتب العلوم المطورة في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في نشر الوعي البيئي لدى الطلبة من وجهة نظر معلمي العلوم في محافظة المفرق
This study aimed to reveal the degree of the contribution of the Basic stage science textbooks (developed edition) in spreading environmental awareness among students from the Science Teachers' Perspective in Mafraq Directorate. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, researcher followed the descriptive approach. An instrument of (32) items was applied on an available sample consisted of (159) male and female science teachers. The results concluded that the contribution of developed science books in the primary education stage to spreading environmental awareness was high. The results of the study also showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the effect of gender, and the differences came in favor of male teachers, and the results also showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the effect of the educational qualification, and the differences were in favor of teachers with postgraduate studies, also results showed the presence of statistically significant differences due to the effect of years of experience, with favor to teachers with experience from (5 -10) years. The study recommended providing science books with targeted activities that seek to facilitate the dissemination of environmental awareness among students, and reconsidering science books and providing them with programs to develop environmental awareness, taking into account the age and intellectual level of students.
