The study aimed to identify the attitudes of mathematics teachers for the basic stage in the northwestern Badia directorate towards distance education, and to show the effect of each of the study variables (qualification, years of experience and gender) on their attitudes. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher followed the descriptive survey approach. The sample of the study consisted of (174) male and female teachers. A questionnaire consisting of (46) items distributed into four domains was applied to them after checking their validity and reliability. The results showed that the attitudes of mathematics teachers in northwestern Badia towards distance education were positive. In addition, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) due to a gender variable in favor of males. Moreover, there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) due to the variables of teaching experience and academic qualification. (Author’s abstract)
