The study aimed to specify the availability of the international standards in chemistry laboratories at al Al-Bayt University and to recognize the effect of the position variable on the rating degree of the sample members. To achieve this goal, the descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of third and fourth year students of Chemistry major of the Faculty of Science at al Al-Bayt University for the academic year 2020-2021. It also included a sample of faculty members and laboratory technicians. The study tool was a questionnaire distributed to a sample numbered 164, consisting of 39 items, on three fields (safety and safety, management and equipment, and laboratory workers). The tool was valiated. The study reached the following results: The rating degree of (faculty members and laboratory workers and students)according to the availability degree of the international standards in chemistry laboratories at al Al-Bayt University for the three fields was an average rating degree in the following order: (laboratory workers, safety and security, and management and equipment) of the Department of Chemistry according to the availability of international standards in the chemistry laboratories at al Al-Bayt University for the three fields was an average rating degree in the following order: (laboratory workers, safety and security, and management and equipment), No statistically significant differences (a = 0.05) were due to the effect of the position in all fields and the total degree except for management and equipment. The differences came in favor of the faculty member and the laboratory technician, In light of these results, the study recommended the necessity for greater attention to the principles of safety and security in chemistry laboratories through developing a course where these principles are taught to avoid any damage, the hard work by the university to provide the modern technological requirements, supporting the chemistry laboratories with the first aid equipment, the university adopts the principle of insurance and compensation for the laboratory workers, leading to an increase in the degree of job safety for them, and paying attention to implementing the continuous training programs for the workers.
