This article aims to research and uncover the phenomenon of marginal activities that university students practice in parallel with their study, by knowing the reasons that lead university students to go to practice marginal activities, the nature of these activities that they practice, the various difficulties and obstacles that face them and the extent of these students' ability to reconcile study and marginal work. For this purpose, the field study was conducted on a sample of (12) students at the University of Muhammad Lamine Dabbagin Setif 02, relying on the descriptive method and the interview as a tool for data collection. The study concluded that students practice various marginal activities in order to meet their needs and sometimes the needs of their families, despite the obstacles they are facing, including what is related to studies, such as obsessed with absences and failures, and some of them are related to the work practiced, such as fatigue, psychological pressure and tension situations, and at the same time they are well aware that reconciling work and study is a difficult matter that requires great effort, patience, perseverance, and most importantly time management.
