The current study aimed to identify the relationship between suicide ideation and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in light of some variables (gender, age & ADHD score). The study participants were 150 children with ADHD (100 males, 50 females). They were 10 to 12 years of age & 13 to 15 years of age. The study used suicidal ideation scale (prepared by the researchers), battery of ADHD of children (prepared by Abdulrahman Soliman & Mahmoud Altantawy, 2012). The results of the study revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between suicidal ideation and ADHD. Females had more thoughts of suicide than males. The study also showed that children with ADHD at ages 13- 15 are more likely to think about suicide than those with ADHD at ages 10- 12. Moreover, children with moderate to severe ADHD were more likely to think about suicide than those with mild ADHD. (Published abstract)
