The current research aims to identify the effectiveness of a training program to develop the skills of emotional intelligence to improve the quality of life and reduce the feeling of loneliness in children with learning disabilities in reading. The sample consisted of 20 pupils from the fifth grade of primary schoolgirls with learning difficulties in reading. It was applied a scale of the quality of life for people with learning difficulties and measure the feeling of loneliness (the researcher) to the participants in the research, students were trained on the proposed training program. Using the nonparametric statistics (Wilcoxon) to find out the significance of the differences between the mean scores of the experimental group to determine significance of differences between the mean scores of the experimental group of children with learning difficulties in reading in two measurements pre and post-test indicated the search results to the following: the presence of significant differences at the level 0.001 between the averages between the mean scores of the experimental group of children with learning difficulties in reading in two measurements pre and post-test to measure the quality of life in its two dimensions (importance and satisfaction) for the benefit of post measurement; and the existence of significant differences at the level 0.001 between the mean scores of the experimental group of children with learning difficulties in reading in two measurements pre and post-test to measure the five dimensions of loneliness in favor of the post measurement.
