The present study aimed at using peer teaching to develop the performance of students on the recorder and enhancing their attitudes towards it. The quasi-experiment approach was employed (6 students in the experimental group and 6 students in the control group). Tools included an observational sheet for the playing skills on the Recorder and a scale for attitudes towards the Recorder. Both tools were pre- and post- administered to the participants. Results affirmed the effectiveness of using peer teaching in teaching music generally and in teaching musical instruments and the Recorder specifically. Results of the study showed that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre- and post-administration of the observational sheet in favor of the post-administration results. There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control one in the post- administration of the observational sheet in favor of the experimental group’s results. There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre- and post- administration of the scale of attitudes towards the Recorder in favor of the post-administration results.
