أنشطة إثرائية قائمة على نظرية العبء المعرفي لتنمية مهارات التفكير الجبري وتحسين مستويات تجهيز المعلومات لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية
This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of enrichment activities based on the cognitive load theory to developing algebraic thinking skills and improve levels of information processing for preparatory school pupils. To achieve the goal of the research, the researchers prepared the suggested visualization of the enrichment activities, a list of algebraic thinking skills, and the selection of the research sample, which was represented in (70) male and female students from the first preparatory school pupils, they were divided into two groups: The experimental group that studied using the suggested visualization of the enrichment activities consisted of (36) male and female pupils, and the control group consisted of (34) male and female pupils. The research tools included testing algebraic thinking skills, testing levels of information processing and they were applied to the experimental and control groups before and after the research experiment. The results of the research resulted in the effectiveness of enrichment activities based on the cognitive load theory to developing algebraic thinking skills and improve levels of information processing for preparatory school pupils. The research presented a number of recommendations and suggested researches. (Published abstract)
