The aim of the current research is to suggest a future framework for a science teacher preparation program for the General Diploma in Education. In light of the SWOT analysis model Faculty of Education, University of Alexandria , and then preparing (5) questionnaires and interview forms to know the views of the research group about the two environments: internal and external for the science teacher preparation program in the General Diploma in Education. The research tools have been applied to the research group represented in: some faculty members of the Faculty of Education, Alexandria University, some of the students are science teachers enrolled in the General Diploma in Education for the academic year 2019-2020, and some mentors of science in general education on diploma students, and some graduates of the preparation program Science teacher with a general diploma in education, and the proposed framework for the strategic plan to develop a program for preparing a science teacher in a general diploma in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alexandria has been completed with a set of recommendations and suggested researches in light of the results of the research.
