دور تربوي مقترح لجامعة الكويت لتنمية مفاهيم التربية الدولية لدى طلبتها في ضوء الفكر التربوي الإسلام
The present study aimed at proposing an educational role for Kuwait University in developing concepts of international education among students in the light of Islamic educational thought. To achieve this goal, the research adoptable descriptive developmental approach. The population consists of all the BA students enrolled in the Kuwait University in 2020-2021. The sample consisted of 421 students who were chosen through using the stratified random sampling method. A questionnaire was designed. It involves 54 items. It targets three areas. Those areas are university curricula, faculty members and student activities. The researcher found that the degree to which the Kuwait University develop concepts of international education among students in the light of Islamic educational thought is moderate, because the overall mean is 2.86. The overall standard deviation is 0.64. The curricula area is ranked first. The (faculty members) area is ranked second. The (student activities) area is ranked third. The researchers found that there isn’t any statistically significant difference -at the statistical significance level of (a= 0.05)-between the respondents ’attitudes which can be attributed to major or academic year. They found that there is a statistically significant difference -at the statistical significance level of (a= 0.05)-between the respondents’ attitudes which can be attributed to gender for the favour of males in all the areas jointly and separately. In the light of these results, an educational role was proposed for Kuwait University to develop the concepts of international education among its students in the light of Islamic educational thought.
