The study aimed to know the effectiveness of STEAM approach in building scientific concepts among fourth-grade students. For this purpose the researchers prepared a test of scientific concepts, the study sample consisted of (60) female students of the fourth primary grade from “Dar Al-Arqam Model School” for Girls, in which the female students were selected The fourth (2) as an experimental sample, which was studied according to the STEM approach, while the fourth grade students (1) were selected as a control sample, who studied in the traditional way, the researcher followed the semi-experimental approach in implementing the study. The results of the study revealed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group students in the postgraduate scientific concepts test in favor of the experimental group. The study also revealed an effectiveness of more than (1, 2) in building scientific concepts. For students to test scientific concepts. The study also recommended integrating the STEAM approach with the science curriculum and developing it, and the necessity of training teachers to implement the STEAM-based curricula for the development of scientific concepts.
