This study aimed to know the relationship between the (internal/ external) locus of control and the possibility of suicide among a sample of middle school students in Jeddah, the study sample consisted of (95) students from two public school in Jeddah, who were chosen with ages ranging 12-15 with average (14) years, and the scale of the locus of control was applied to them (Alaa Alkafafi 1982) and a measure of suicide probability (Adburraqeeb Albuhairy 2003) and the results of the study indicated the following: 1) There is no related statistically relationship between the locus of control (Internal/ external) and the possibility of suicide. 2) The spreading of internal locus of control in the study sample. 3) The level of suicide risk for intermediate school students was low. 4) Commonness of despair and low self-evaluation as one of the possibility of suicide dimensions with a high level in the study sample.
