The study aimed to investigating the effectiveness of using the reciprocal teaching strategy in developing the mathematics achievement for sixth grade female students. The study adopted quasi experimental design. The reciprocal teaching strategy was used in teaching the experimental group, whereas the control group was taught through the tradional method. To verify the hypotheses, a post achievement test was conducted. The study results were as follows: There were statistically significant difference at ≤ (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental and the control groups; concerning knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesizing, and evaluation level in favor of the experiment group. Also, the significant difference was found on the whole test in favor of experimental group. We have been to provide a set of recommendations and proposals in the light of research procedures and consequences. (Published abstract)
