The current study aimed to identify the standards education and care programs for gifted students in the United States of America and the possibility of benefiting from them in the Sultanate of Oman. Study used a descriptive method, also used document analysis was also used to collect data and information. The results of the study concluded that there are specific standards for gifted student education and care programs in the United States of America set by the state education departments in addition to the National Gifted Children Association, and that these standards focused on many areas such as: the identification of gifted students, Curriculum, teaching strategies, and program services, The educational environment, Excellent management, professional development of specialists, partnership with parents and the local community, continuous evaluation, and the study recommended that the Ministry of Education build standards for education and care programs for gifted students in the school performance development system.
