This study aims to identify the concept of play, its features, benefits, and functions, as well as to identify the most important theories of the interpretation of play in preschoolers, and to identify the educational applications of play in light of the theories of psychology. The study focuses on describing and analyzing theories explaining play in preschool from a psychology perspective, as well as identifying the educational applications of play in kindergarten. This study relies on the descriptive approach, as it deals with the subject of the study in description and analysis and deals with it through approved sources and collects all the information. Among the most important results of the study, play is considered a therapeutic method that educators use to help them solve some of the problems and psychological disorders that some children may suffer from. Also, play is an effective means of communication for children, and it is a formula that children use to send their emotions, ideas, values, and perceptions. (Published abstract)
