The study aimed to find out the degree of availability of administrative empowerment dimensions among women leaders at Jazan University, and how they contribute to the development of university education and the creation of change processes, as well as proposing a set of mechanisms and procedural recommendations to activate the role of Jazan University in enhancing the women leaders' administrative empowerment. To achieve the study objectives, the researcher designed a questionnaire directed to the total community of women leaders in Jazan University Colleges, which consisted of deans, vice- deans and the heads of departments, the sample included 57 women leaders. The questionnaire consisted of two parts, the first part included basic data that specifies the participants’ qualities, while the second part included five dimensions related to “administrative empowerment”, namely: authority delegation, teamwork, training, motivation, and effective communication respectively. The researcher followed the descriptive methodology and used the (SPSS) program in statistical treatments and calculating the study variables (college, years of experience, full-time administrative work and training courses). Results indicated that women leaders at Jazan University possess - to a large extent - the skills of administrative empowerment related to four dimensions only: teamwork, training, motivation, and effective communication, while they do not have the skills of authority delegation because Jazan University follows the central system in management which does not allow them to make decisions without returning to the university's senior management. Also, there are no statistically significant differences according to the participants' responses due to the variables of the college, years of experience, and training courses, while there are statistically significant differences due to the variable of "full-time administrative work" as it came in favor of women leaders who are fully dedicated to the practice of administrative work. The study recommended promoting the appropriate organizational climate in which Jazan University management operates and it encourages women leaders to have administrative empowerment intellectually and practically, activating the trend towards administrative decentralization, supporting the authority delegation, and increasing motivations for excellent women leaders.
