This study aimed at exploring the effectiveness of using the digital stories in teaching English Language for developing some reading aloud skills among pupils with learning difficulties in the sixth grade; at the level of (recognition and pronunciation, direct literal comprehension and deductive comprehension). To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher used the quasi-experimental method (one group model) that consists of (15) pupils with learning difficulties in the sixth grade in the formal primary schools in Taif city during the second semester of the year 1439/1440 AH. The researcher used three digital stories, observation sheet after making sure of its validity and reliability, and then they were applied to the sample of the study before and after the experimentation. The duration of applying the experiment was four weeks.  Some statistical processes were used and the results revealed that there are statistical significant differences between the two means of the degrees of the sample of the study in the two pre and post applications of the observation sheet of reading aloud in English at the following levels: (recognition and pronunciation, direct literal comprehension and deductive comprehension) for the benefit of the post application. In the light of that, the researcher recommended the following: the necessity of implementing the digital stories in developing the skills of oral performance in teaching English in general and in particular for pupils with learning difficulties. Also providing training programs for the teachers of pupils with learning difficulties to enhance their knowledge about the importance of digital stories in education in general and in teaching English in particular.
