The study aimed at laying a teaching practice proposal for the General Diploma in Education Program in the Graduate College, Alfashir University. That is through being introduced to the attitudes of the students and the teachers on the status quo of teaching practice in the college. The researcher has adopted the descriptive method in conducting the research. The whole population of the study was considered as a sample as well because of its small size (40 students). The researcher has designed a questionnaire to survey the attitudes of the teachers, and the students who were registered in the General Education Diploma Program, who were trained in the schools of El-Fasher Town during the academic year 2010. The study revealed the following results: 1) There is no prospectus for teaching practice in the college to act as a guideline for the educational activities in the schools. 2) Trainee were not involved in the process of planning for teaching practice. 3) The proposed fields of teaching practice for the General Diploma in Education (management, organization, supervision, follow-up, teaching included practice directory, microteaching and evaluation).
