The study aimed at recognizing the effectiveness of enrichment activities according to STEAM model for developing scientific thinking skills of gifted female pupils at primary grades in Jeddah. For achieving the aims of the study, the researcher used the quasiexperimental approach, as she conducted the study on a sample of (27) female pupils who had passed a giftedness scale in Jeddah during the academic year 1440 - 1441 A.H. Therefore, the sample was divided into two groups; an experimental group (15) pupils, and a control one (12) pupils. The tool of the study (a test for scientific thinking skills) was administered after ensuring the procedures of tool validity and reliability. The enrichment activities were administered according to STEAM model on the experimental group. Then, data were statistically dealt with by the use of arithmetic means, standard deviations, (t) test for independent groups, and (ⴄ2) formula to calculate size of effect and validate the hypotheses. The study concluded the following results: The existence of statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of each of the experimental group and the control one in the post application of the scientific thinking skills test for every skill (observation, measurement, classification, inference, prediction) in favor of the experimental group, that was attributed to the use of STEAM model in enrichment activities. The study recommends the application of enrichment activities using the STEAM model for gifted females at first grades of the primary stage, due to the findings of the current study that was conducted on a sample of gifted female pupils in Jeddah and proved its positive effect on developing their scientific thinking skills.
